Jill Bailey

Development Director

As Development Director, Jill Bailey leads the fundraising, donor relations, and advancement strategy that makes MentorKids USA's mission possible. She oversees corporate and foundation partnerships, marketing, communications, and special events — leading a five-person team focused on building the relationships and resources that sustain long-term youth leadership programming across Phoenix's Promise Neighborhoods.

With more than 30 years of nonprofit leadership experience and two decades of marketing and communications expertise, Jill brings rare breadth to her role. She understands how to tell an organization's story — and how to turn that story into lasting investment. She is especially skilled at helping people understand the heart of a mission and inviting them to be part of it.

Jill has served in leadership roles across the nonprofit, ministry, education, and business sectors, including Operations and Communications Manager for the NC Zoological Society, Director of Communications & Marketing for Arizona Christian University, and Director of Advancement for Choices Pregnancy Centers. Across these roles, she has helped organizations clarify their message, grow revenue, and build the kind of community support that lasts.

She holds a BS in Christian Ministry/Business Administration from Arizona Christian University and an MA in Christian Leadership Studies from Liberty University Theological Seminary.

Jill and her husband, Scott, love to travel. She has lived in four countries and seven states and still has a long bucket list of places to visit — but her favorite place to be is wherever her children and five grandchildren are.
