About This Role
MentorKids USA is seeking a LEAD Program Coordinator for our Maryvale after-school and summer program. This is a full-time, hands-on leadership role serving up to 80 students in Kindergarten through 8th grade, centered on three pillars: Academic Success, Spiritual Growth, and Leadership Development.You’ll help oversee the day-to-day operations of the program, lead enrichment activities, support staff, volunteers, and iLEADers, and create a safe, welcoming, and values-aligned environment for students and families in Maryvale.
The ideal candidate is proactive, relational, and organized, with experience in youth ministry, education, or a related field. Strong classroom or behavior management skills, a heart for discipleship, and a genuine commitment to engaging youth, families, and the community are essential for this role.
Key QualificationsA growing and vibrant Christian faith
Minimum 2 years of youth ministry, teaching, or related experience preferred
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required
Must be 21+ with a valid Arizona driver’s license

About This RoleMentorKids USA is seeking a Neighborhood Resource Development Manager (NRDM) to develop and strengthen neighborhood-based fundraising and community ownership across our six Promise Neighborhoods.
This is a full-time, relational, and strategic role. The NRDM serves as the primary coach and support partner for Neighborhood Managers and volunteer Neighborhood Resource Development Committees (NRDCs) — equipping leaders to build the skills, confidence, and systems needed to become effective community fundraisers and stewards.
Success in this role is measured not simply by dollars raised, but by the development of healthy fundraising systems, active NRDCs, engaged supporters, and growing neighborhood ownership of fundraising and stewardship over time.
Key Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent nonprofit fundraising experience
3+ years of experience in fundraising, donor development, community engagement, or nonprofit leadership
Strong relationship building, coaching, and volunteer leadership skills
Experience with CRM systems (Virtuous CRM+ preferred)
Reliable transportation required; valid driver's license required
Passion for MentorKids' mission and serving the communities we call home

MentorKids USA is seeking three part-time Lead Teachers for our Tempe after-school and summer program. This hands-on role serves up to 20 students in kindergarten through 7th grade and is centered on three pillars: Academic Success, Spiritual Growth, and Leadership Development.Lead Teachers are responsible for planning, organizing, and leading daily Bible lessons, social skills lessons, and academic support. This role also includes encouraging positive student behavior, coordinating volunteer schedules, providing leadership for an Assistant Teacher and daily volunteers, and working closely with the Program Manager to support student and program growth.
We are looking for highly motivated individuals with a passion for working with youth, families, and the community. Previous teaching experience is preferred, along with a strong commitment to MentorKids’ mission and values.
