Brittany Carrillo
Brittany Carrillo joined MentorKids USA in 2024 to help build and grow the Tempe neighborhood program—a mission close to her heart as someone who grew up in the area. Her deep connection to the city and passion for seeing kids thrive made stepping into this role a natural fit.
Before joining MentorKids, Brittany spent over a decade working with children in after-school and faith-based programs before pausing her career to raise her four kids. She is also a foster and adoptive mom, and has spent years supporting other foster families. Brittany holds a bachelor’s degree in Spanish with a minor in math/statistics and has a background in homeschooling, both of which support her ability to lead with creativity, structure, and care—while adapting to different learning needs.
Outside of work, Brittany enjoys paddle boarding, reading, spending time outdoors, and being with her family. She’s excited to be part of a team that’s creating safe, supportive spaces where kids feel known, valued, and inspired to grow.
