Born and raised in Gilbert, Arizona, Mitchell grew up serving at the church his parents’ pastor, instilling in him a heart to serve from a young age. From working as a church janitor and daycare after-school leader to becoming an assistant youth pastor and then worship pastor, Mitchell has always believed that no job is too small and that any problem can be solved.

Over the past seven years at MentorKids, Mitchell has served as a teacher and program coordinator in the South Phoenix Promise Neighborhood before transitioning to his current role as Neighborhood Manager in Paiute. His experience in daycare and church leadership, combined with his degree in Biblical Theology, has equipped him with the tools to connect with the community and guide students and families in their faith journey.

Balancing work and family life, Mitchell and his wife of seven years are raising a lively toddler. Though free time is scarce, he enjoys tinkering with computers and electronics whenever he gets the chance.
