  • MentorKids USA is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization and your donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. To claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes, please keep your email donation receipt as your official record. We'll send it to you upon successful completion of your donation.

  • The Arizona Charitable Tax Credit is a dollar-for-dollar tax reduction on your Arizona tax liability for cash contributions to qualifying charitable organizations. MentorKids USA is a qualifying Charitable Organization.

  • With this Tax Credit, you receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit, up to $470 for filing single or $938 if filing a joint return, on your Arizona state income taxes while helping Phoenix youth – at no additional cost to you. This means you can reduce the amount you owe or increase your refund by the amount you give to MentorKids. *Please note that MentorKids USA is not a tax advisor.   • Yes! The state of Arizona has a number of independent tax credits. The Public School – Extra-Curricular Tax credit and the Private School – Tuition Organization credits are two of these. Each work similarly, yet independently. As long as your tax liability exceeds the credit parameters of each, you can take advantage of the many tax credit programs available.
