In addition to being a mentor, there are plenty of opportunities
to help at MentorKids USA.
Here are just a few of our needs that we could use your
help with:
Prayer Partner
We
recognize that God works in the hearts and lives of people,
and so we regularly pray for our mentors and the youth we
serve. If you would like to partner with us in prayer, we
would love to have you join us.
Office
Support
We need regular support with
some of the functions that take place in our office. Your
volunteering a few hours a week to answer phones, for example,
enables us to focus on other projects while our callers
are being properly cared for by a helpful volunteer.
Special
Events Volunteer
Be a part of a committee
to help with our annual golf tournament or fund raising
dinner. Special events volunteers help us with everything
from being creative by designing invitations, registering
participants, or planning and organizing a catered dinner.
If you love helping with a party, or are especially gifted
at getting other people involved, this would be a great
place to volunteer.

Contact
In order to provide mentors
to the youth at-risk that we serve, we work hard to get
the word out to church leaders. With thousands of churches
in the area, there is no shortage of work to be done to
tell our story. If you would like to sit down with pastors
to tell our story, we would love to have you as a part of
our team.
Public
Relations
In addition to telling our
story to church leaders, there are many others who need
to hear about usfor example, the media and the general
public. If you are skilled at PR and know how to get the
word out, give us a call.
Other
There
really is no end to how we can use volunteers. Perhaps you
have a skill you would like to teach others, but cannot
commit to being a mentor. Maybe you would like to help us
raise money. Or you might just want to be available in any
capacity we can use you for. Whatever your gifts or talents,
we can likely use your help.
