MentorKids USA is:

  Faith-Based – We work in collaboration with the local church community to provide caring Christian mentors for at-risk youth.

  Relationship-Based – We focus on strengthening key relationships with God, family, and community.

  Growth-Based – We are strategic in our approach to mentoring youth in that we work to develop key areas in their lives for growth:

  Spiritual—we provide every opportunity for kids to know Jesus Christ as Savior and to develop a disciplined walk with God.

  Emotional—we help kids deal with some of the everyday difficulties that life can bring—mostly listening and caring about what they are experiencing.

  Academic—our mentors challenge and assist their mentees to grow in their commitment to school, providing them with the understanding of getting a good education.

  Recreational—mentors and mentees spend a lot of time together just having fun—building trust, and experiencing life together.

  Service to Community—we provide opportunities for mentees to give back to the community through community service projects.
